Sessions are 50-minutes in length, and we can collaboratively determine the frequency of them (i.e., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc.); I will make some recommendations. As our work progresses, we can also communicate about titrating, maintenance, and/or discharge.

Attending counseling is in and of itself empowering because the choice is being made to do something for you.  No matter what head-space you find yourself in, counseling is a great tool that keeps your well-being at the center.

In individual therapy, the client and counselor work together to focus on attainable goals and plans that are client-centered and client-directed.  Depending on the needs of the client, the pace, the therapy, and "the work" will look and feel different.
