Mental Health Consultant for School Systems: Supporting the Adults
I will be representing Region 5 in partnership with PDE in the Trauma Informed Practices in Schools Workgroup to aid in the roll-out of new legislation requiring all educators to have professional development in childhood trauma.
Translate Dissertation Research into Manuscripts
I will be completing the application for the NCSC certification.
Work/Life Balance
I am co-leading a day-long women's retreat in April 2020 with three local practitioners, and we hope to make it an annual event.

Partnerships
I would love to one day get my certification in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) to further my work in trauma-informed care in the region.
Approved Clinical Supervisor
Following degree conferral, I intend on applying for the ACS certification.
Co-creating an ACES Adjunct Interest Network
After presenting at ACES in Seattle, WA, my colleagues and I discovered a need for a space for adjunct instructors within our professional organization.
Legal & Ethical Advocacy
I have a professional interest of getting more involved at the level of policy and lobbying lawmakers to support mental health and the counseling profession.
School Counseling Leadership
I would like to create pathways of advocacy for the school counseling profession and the flawed systems in which they work -- locally, regionally, & nationally.
